Electrochemistry Group

Department of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry
Faculty of Chemistry

Our Group conducts research mainly based on the electrochemical synthesis and complex characterization of nanostructural materials, such as nanoporous metal oxides or highly ordered metallic and polymer nanowires. Our research interests are also focused on application capabilities of synthesized materials, starting from photoelectrochemical activity of nanostructural semiconductive oxides, electrochemical sensors based on metallic nanowires, up to biomedical applications of anodic TiO2 layers. Recently, we have started investigating bioelectrochemical systems and also materials with potential for energy storage. More detailed information on our research works/interests can be found on the group website.
